So, I have had an oil leak for some time. About 1/2 qt. between 5000 mile changes.
Was leaving puddles in garage which is annoying.
I bought some stuff you pour in the oil and the leaks glow like some alien reactor coolant.
The entire bottom of the engine then started glowing. All around the pan gasket.
I swapped the pan gasket a few months ago.
No longer have a leak that is noticeable on the dipstick and the puddles became very small.
But they didn't go away completely.
So I powerwashed the entire bottom of the engine (still glows a bit though).
It still gets covered in oil and leaves small spots.
Have another leak.

So, I powerwashed the bottom again this morning and added leak detector again ran the engine for a bit, and the oil pan gasket is good, all gaskets are good. Front seal is good.

Yep, It is leaking around a stupid little bolt. A timing cover bolt.
Took it out and put thread sealant on the threads and RTV under the bolt head.
I found no other new alien goo anywhere else.
Crossing fingers that I got it to stop leaking finally.

I like leak detector.
