I only had 13 hours of cure time before I had to go back to work this morning. I took it easy and never gave it much gas. It held together quit nicely and it will finish curing while I'm at work. So that's great. It's so quiet now, weird. Sounds like a new truck to me, lol.

At my work, In the summer I sometimes lay traffic counters. I have this high temp tape that holds the tubes in place. It works well, so I added that when I got to work. A patch job that should last.

only time will tell, lol.
Shoot maybe I should of tried it, just replaced the 98's LT headers due to primary leak right at the flange weld. Rust hole just out side the weld, not enough metal left to weld shut, they thinned right out...they were doomed. Unfortunately, the rest of the exhaust was thinning out as well (too many Mich winters, they suffered 10 of those before kicking it, guess that's not too bad) sooo, just replaced everything myself...but yea, never again! Of course, that's what I said the last time. All new this time, turned out great, but man , it still sucked the bawanna ! lol.

Sometimes you just just gotta replace stuff you know. That will be my next step if it fails.

I've put 300 miles, city, country roads and interstate driving on the rigged exhaust. Still holding strong. I'm happy with my $5.49 fix so far.

It's not much but I put a 34" spare under the truck so my gears wont get chewed up if I have to use it.
