Well if they didn't fail a majority of people wouldn't buy new cars every 3 years (manufacturer's dream.)

Well, I decided to buy a new welder instead of a Back window. I've got a lot of stuff to do on the Mustang but I'll get to knock out some truck work with it real soon as well.

I've got the beginnings of bubbling on the passenger rocker and I'd like to make a undercarriage wind dam and box as well. Since I can't fit a tire in there, I might as well get some use out of that area.

I mean depending how you look at it anything really is after so many years of use lol.

My original rear slider window lasted 19 years before it failed. The new rear slider that's in my truck now is the revised version so I'm hoping it lasts just as long, and I have no doubt in it being able to do so. The butyl seal is more than likely going to fail again before the window itself fails.

My slider has been sealed for two years. When I replace it I'm going with a solid rear.

I think a new welder is exactly where that money needed to go. What did you end up with?

I installed a Rancho MT 7000 steering stabilizer. I love em!

A Lincoln Pro-Mig180. My Miller let the smoke out a few years ago and I never replaced it. This should help me take care of a lot of little things with the vehicles and around the home. I've also been itching to build a car/toy trailer for the last few years.
