So those are rivets, -impressed, you do nice work...Can you paint too ? I mean, how are you going about painting it. Black w/white rivets, but what's your process ? You know, it would good just clearing it. But yea, white rivets on black would look great , or the other way around. Attention to detail, your boss when it comes to that ehh. That's excellent, -makes it real cool to look at.

yeah they're rivets, and I do a fair amount of paint work here and there nothing crazy but I do shoot my paint. This is an Oxford white pint I've had for a little bit. I normally have my buddy blast things for me but these I went old fashion scuff on. The rivets were challenging... I ran the heads over a belt sander and they held up to the gun nicely (I was surprised) I thought about just clearing them, it would have been much easier. I was just curious how paint would hold up honestly lol. And I enjoy doing little things that don't cost much but are different, that's been a big seller when I take it places haha. Just goes to show its not about how much $$ you can throw at something. (Common mentality it seems lately) I appreciate it! Any progress on yours?

Got some new goodies in today
I'm still not sure if I can press these new u-joints in with a hammer and socket, I'm pretty nervous about it.

Have any of you guys had a problem with your antenna ? Does it rust out inside the connection at the fender or whatnot. I haven't investigated yet, but I get absolutely nothing on my tuner now. The reason why I ask is I had apart years ago and noticed rust inside that deal where the antenna screw into. Thinking about trying there first.

I don't know, you lost me.

The antenna screws into a fitting on the fender. There was rust inside the fitting. Just wondering if that had something to with it. I'll figure it out, thinking one of you guys may have dealt with in the past is all.
