It's in decent shape. I just dread yanking the engine if it is seized. I've found a used one for $600 at the local junkyard but I don't know what shape it's in. The tailgate is shot, it will need another one.

Which motor? From what I've heard 5.4s on ebay can be found with 80kish with a warranty for under $1000
My engine according to the vin is a 4.6 Romeo. I thought about the 5.4 swap but I'd have to sit and figure out what works and what don't. Right now just waiting for the weekend to see if it is seized. The last owner was old and just said he over headed it and it died and when he checked it that it was locked up.

Over headed it ? What could that mean ? Well yea, a 5four will work, should start your own thread to put your questions to rest. Or just search it out.
BTW, remove that bug deflector on the hood and it might give you more ambition.
