Talking I fixed my massive vacuum leak

Its not bling or anything, but I managed to find and fix the huge vacuum leak that's I've been seeing on my wife's expedition.

Turns out the PCV valve got unplugged from the valve cover and nobody noticed. It wasn't enough of a leak to throw a lean code, but I noticed the fuel trims were running too high and started looking.

You mean the graph? Torque pro and a cheapo ELM327 clone. Had it log the long & short term fuel trims to a CSV file. Pulled that into excel and added a new column to sum them, that's the value that I graphed. The graph was just to visually show folks the change -- I had already seen that that was my fix.

Nice part of that setup is that I was able to walk around the engine wirelessly monitoring the trims. As soon as I stuck my finger over the PCV valve and plugged the vacuum leak, the short term trim noticed within seconds and went almost the full negative of the long term value.. bingo, problem found.

I grabbed them thinking I will find a place for them. It took a couple weeks until I finally figured out where I wanted to put them, lol

Will get some more pictures up when I have a chance to get outside.
As well as some video of the remote working!

Those pods fit well in the bumper area? I literally measured that space today on mine. Looks like it could fit a 4" pod nicely.
