Default What did you do to your truck today?

Got these in the mail today for my truck, 2 new Moog U-Joints for my driveshaft. Should be fun getting the factory originals out when I go to do it. Lol. Don't know when I'll get around to doing it though, I need to do so soon though.

Lol about damn time! Find you a large c-clamp and a big enough socket so that when the cap is pressed out it will fit inside of it.

And do not try to do this under your truck. Lol

Access to a torch would be a big help here. At the very least, you can soak with penetrating lubricant. My .02

Hahaha I know. And hell no I wouldn't do it under my truck, when I damn well know there's 4 bolts on holding the back of the driveshaft to the rear end LOL.

And I think these might do the trick... If I have a big enough C-clamp lol.

Thanks man, I'll take any tips I get for this.

Just is I'm not sure how my aluminum driveshaft might like heat, but if they're stubborn and need it I'll cross that road when I get to it.

Never use heat on a tempered aluminum driveshaft. Use a large punch and a 3lb hand sledge with some penetrating oil.

I feel like I finally own a real truck. Not an SUV pretending to be a truck in the form of a Supercrew. I haven't had a perma-smile this big since I had my GT.

yes it's a big picture and yes I'm going to repost it every thread I can.
