Put on the my cb antennas and fed the wires, just waiting on it actual cb to get delivered this week! Kind of like the lean on them but I'll more than likely put some washers under them to level them out

Pretty nice setup! May I ask why your running dual antennas? One that's 5 ft in the back and one that's 4 ft where you have em will increase your distance by miles. They obviously have to be in a straight line, but it makes for a hell of a ground plane.

What radio are you gonna get? You gonna run an amp to it?

currently only have one hooked up, I like symmetry so that's its main reason, I've read If I hook them both up I'll get more of an oval shaped coverage but will extend it front and back more than side to side. I'm going to test just one for now then hook up the second in like a month and compare distances. I could always put a 5foot in the stakehole at the back so that in lines up with the front one.
For now I had reward points from my work so I just got a cobra 19dxiv. Looking to upgrade to a cobra 29 or bearcat in the near future

Ditch that man, those are junk radios. I know the antennas are 99% of your build, but if you get that radio you'll have to use a SWR meter to get it set and it will never be right. My buddy had a cheap one like that and had a 1.6 SWR, finally got a Connex Night Runner (amazing radio BTW) and he got it lowered to 1.2.

yeah like I said it was free so I got it to go ahead and get everything set up. I'm taking my time researching and will get a better one come summertime... Haven't heard of connex nightrunner I'll look into it thanks!
