What did you do to your 10th gen today?

Went and bought some brake parts today.
Found a deal on craigslist for some rear rotors and pads (EBC rotors and green stuff pads) for $100 and also went and bought some new parking brakes shoes, hardware and brake pedal pad (mine was worn through with metal showing).
Only pic I got was of the new break pedal pad, if I don't put the rears on tomorrow I will at least take pics of them.

Warp your factory rotors? Ive put mine to really good use towing boats and a few thousand pounds with no trouble at all and my rotors as good as you would expect for having 200k on them.

Dang, everyone was on that boot kick for awhile ehh. Pun intended.
Took some time locating this. BTW, Went from Wings to Rockies here, have two pair. One set for the garage, one set for Sunday. With Rocky, you have to which are good for you. The advantage of steel toes far outweigh the disadvantages in most environments. Not what I wanted to talk about.

So, that's correct LMC is too expensive. I've been saying that for years. The best I've found with metal panels is Raybucks and FixMyRust dot coms.
Thing is with LMC. It's easier to find what you need and what's on the market. Great diags, - when you can read them. I will be using for little things that are either hard to find or non-existent. Usually searching for what I need starts there because the part is generally named properly for those specific searches. I have found what I need on the most peculiar of sites, but successfully getting a better deal over the years. LMC is good for a lot of other things besides body parts. Things are to our benefit vs theirs lol. All in all, it's a benefit of some kind visiting their store.

Your correct about that bed panel. It says 66" long 32" wide. It's no wonder it's so cheap, who would purchase that with all that welding. It's not really the welding, just how long it would take to do it correctly without warpage. Very easy to warp the metal at local. No spot welding there, - it's all butt. You would have to spot the butt every 6" or so to get away from warpage. Not only that, you have to be carefull with the flat disc wheel..that will warp 18 or 20g real quick as well. It's safer/cooler to use a stone grinder on sheet less the 16 gauge. Long way to go, -my primer is going to end up shiney and sconch/booger free before the shoot.
Went to school with the owner of Bronco Graveyard....Jeff. It use to be Jeff's Bronco Graveyard. Actually, he slipped my mind until you mentioned it..Good guy. -Thanks!
