Yes. And they are freaking EVERYWHERE.

Yeah we have that problem too. Lol they get stuck in the spaces between the wood on our deck and if you walk on it barefoot you might get lucky enough to step on one.

I live in northern va in a suburban neighborhood and we are basically surrounded by forest around our whole neighborhood subdivision. And it's an older neighborhood about 20ish years old give or take about 5 years. And yes there are a few maple trees I'd imagine lol
