Alright I posted something earlier about the spark plug change made worse. Well its gotten far worse now. #1- Did the seafoam(intake,crankcase,gas tank) #2- Changed the plugs(autolite dbl Plat) Started the trunk and engine shakes and shutters and there is small pop coming from under the driver side. #3- Changed oil and filter, not any better. #4 Went and got motorcraft plugs and new wires. Now the truck will hardly start and when put in gear it will die. There is alot of white smoke coming from the exhaust and a loud continuous pop from exhaust. Sorry for the long post but I really need help! This is suppose to be just a simple tune up. 99 f150 reg. cab long bed 4.2L

 

Did you cross some plug wires when putting them back on?

 

Alright now... I think I should be kicked of the forum. Cracked #4 wire(original). Went and got some new wires. Wrong firing order. Thanks for your help

For real though it happens. Glad you figured it out.

 

Well, I suggest replacing your plug wires & routing your wires correctly. Anything else? Oh ya. Yes, you can borrow the wall!
