my dad drove my truck and he just called me and said that the rear end locked up

Wow man, sorry to hear that.... Are you sure its the rear and not just the brakes locking up?

It's the rear end because my dad said he was turning a corner when it happened and they are going to pop the cover and check

The nice thing about these trucks is that there are a million of them sitting around so finding a donor shouldn't be too difficult.. Just make sure if you do a replacement you don't forget to check the gearing

The little bolt that holds the gears together broke and ruined the gears
