Default What is this?

Found this on my driveway....I think it came from my 2001 F-150 but not sure. What is it? Have developed a clunk when driving over bumps etc. Sounds like it is coming out of the bed area..

Looks like it has a bushing of some type on it. I would get under your truck and start looking around. Try to pin point the area thats making noise... (maybe have someone jump around in the bed of your truck).

X2 that is a factory sway bar link bushing...

By a new sway bar link and pop it in... That is most likely the source of your clunk and it is an easy replacement...

fo sho, its a factory link bushing. a new end link kit is cheap, moog runs like $11 per link. when you replace the one side thats broken replace the other side as well. always replace in pairs, that goes for everything. i would also check you stabilizer bar bushings as well. look at where the stabilizer bar is mounted to the frame, there will be one bushing on each side.
