Default werid electrical issue

So every now and again I'll be driving down the road and the windshield wipers go off. What the heck could this be? I has nothing to do with speed, when I turn the wheel in any direction, nothing like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It only does it every once in a while not every time I drive the truck.

Cheers, Bill

multifunction switch most likely. it happens often on the style we have especially yin rangers. if you google there is a step by step breakdown of it ti clean it that might work. if not they are like 40 bucks on ebay.

yea the multifunction switch is the switch for the wipers and turn signals and washers. its the whole lever/switch assembly. thats why its called multifunction.
