I have a 2001 F-150 that has took on a weird series of problems. I have been carpooling with a guy from work and it was his week to drive so my truck sat for a week. Went to drive this weekend and battery was dead. Jumped to off with no thought of issues. Drove to town only to come out of the store to hear the fan blower still on. Got home and still doing it only this time I noticed the outside temp and compass was still on. Then noticed the gauges still showing like the key was on. Truck started fine. Shut it off to find the theft light blinking and then the truck didn't start, only spun over. Shut key off and did the same. Shut key off and the theft light stayed off, truck started. Turned off and blower stayed on. I had some one tell me it may be the key switch. I want yalls opinion. Don't want to throw parts at an electrical issue. Thanks in advance.
