The weather strip around my back window on my 01 supercrew came off. I drove it through the car wash after the beach & when I got home I saw it sticking out from one side. Is it easy to put back in place or should I buy some new strip?

 

Try putting in back in yourself.

 

Anyone have a pic of what it looks like when it is properly installed???

 

Mine came out on my 01 SCREW and I just shoved it back in with a putty knife where I couldn't see it. On my 97 F150 it leaked so I had to pull the whole back window and replace the seal.

 

Any idea where I can pick up a new piece? Mine is partially pulled behind the plastic window surround and in general poor shape. I plane to replace my rear window so getting a new seal would be nice.

 

Whoever changes your rear window should replace the seal as part of the price.
