anyone able to do a vin # check? i bought a used f150 about 5 months ago and this last saturday i was hit by a lady it was her fault and her insurance is fixing my truck problem is while working they found that my truck has been in a wreck before and will probably make it hard to repair now i was not told this when i bought the truck can anyone check my vin and tell me what has happend to it? 2FTZX0765WCA94567 is my vin.

 

best thing to do is a carfax

and if they say they wont fix the car then you really need to follow up on the truck and get info. cause you wanna prove them wrong !!

pull the car fax i think its like 10 at most for one

You may want to run an Auto Check report on it as well. It is basically the same thing as CarFax. Bought my wife's Equinox a few years back with a clean CarFax, went to trade it in at a dealer that uses Auto Check instead and found frame damage reported. When I called both CarFax and Auto Check about it they said that insurance companies are not required to both or any history report companies, they do it as a courtesy to the purchasers. But it is based on dealership preference to decide which one they report to. Good luck man.

Bringing this up again because I will soon have a 2010 f-150 for sale. It was a damaged truck that I repaired and I am sure the next owner would want a Car Fax.
