hey guys new guy here i just got me a 2000 f150 flare side and i plan on making her look spiffy. well tomorrow i think i will do my first mod.i plan on tinting the head lights and taillights.i was going to buy a roll of tint and do it then i saw someone useing vht night shade spray tint it looked 10 times easier and faster to do and looked very good!. so i went to pep boys and picked me up a can for 12 bucks and some 2000 grit sand paper and some polish. i will post pics up tomorrow and step by step how i did it hope it turns out nice!!! lol and then going to do the gotts mod

yeah i here the pipe will be a pain lol....and i am not going dark as the back for the headlights maybe a coat or 2. plus i will be runing 10k lights soon

Tinting stock heads is a stupid idea... Light output is horrible as is, now tinting them? 10k or not... go on ebay and buy some with black backgrounds and clear outside. Looks way cleaner and you actually have light output..

well i have seen a ton of vht spray tints and they all look good as real tint. and i can tint the headlight out and not spray where the headlights shine threw eather way they both look great.i was going to get halo headlights but geting aftermarket headlight looks cool but i am not going for that look i want the solid black look.and 10k shines threw anything lol. just give me a chance lol..

I did my tails and corner lights with rustoleum lens tint they came out nice.

Did the same thing to my 97 5.4 with 3 coats of Rust-o-leum Night Shade.
