Hey guys today I was driving on the freeway on my way to school. And all the sudden my check engine light comes on. It wasn't blinking and it didn't do anything weird so I kept going till I got home to use my code reader. The two codes that come up are both P0500 Which as the title said is a vehicle speed sensor a; code. I would replace this sensor right away. Except I have no freaking clue what it is. I don't have money for a chiltons right now. Anyone know where this sensor is or why it would come up. It's a 1998 standard transmission. Any help please!!
