Default Vacuum leak

Quick question I'm trying to find a vacuum leak or what I believe to be a vacuum leak (p0171,p0174) and was curious to know if propane would be a suitable replacement for acetylene to find the leak?? Thoughts??

Yes that will work. It is one of the more dangerous ways to find it.
