Actually, 4x4 helps a lot when cornering in the snow. It's not a free pass to drive like the roads are dry, but provides much better control than 2wd.

Something that western Washington drivers can't seem to figure out...We get a little snow and there's always someone who believes 4 wheel drive will help them stop,and there's always a few in the ditch!


Something else to remember, if you happen to get all 4 wheels spinning, you can get into some real trouble real quick.
I learned this the hard way really quick at a young age
