I know our 150's werent meant to run them but I don't have the money to go to a 250 or 350 yet but thought this could be a happy compromise for the time being.
DO NOT CHANGE YOUR LUG PATTERN / USE WHEEL SPACERS OR ADAPTORS

Here is my experience with them:

EDIT: are you sinking the lugs into the hub all the way? The last thing you want is to not do that, and it moves 1/32nd of an inch. When replacing studs, I would go to a scrap yard for a could reasons:

1. OEM parts
2. Cheap OEM parts.

LOL. Sorry Red. I chuckle everytime I see that pic. Unless your changing out the axles completely, your still gonna have a 5 lug connection to the adapter anyways. Doesn't matter if you have 6, 8, or 24 on the wheel, 5 will be holding it on there. I'd be replacing hub assemblies and ensuring I had the correct nuts & torque. Problem solved.

Get factory OEM studs,

Get the right lug nuts (acorn or flange, and then size and thread type)

Torque them town to the correct setting

Re-torque them after 50, 100, and 500 miles, I still re-torque mine every month.

Hey red got a question about brakes now. I do a lot of towing and was wondering what I should do about upgrading my brakes. Most of the braking is in the front so should I go with just something bigger up front and leave stock back? If so where should I start looking and what size?

Will that be a direct bolt up? Also I have aftermarket 16 inch rims. Will this cause me to not be able to fit the caliper without spacers?

You have to check.. 7700 came with 16" but if your wheel is close to the stock calipers i dont know. It all is a Direct bolt on upgrade as long as you buy the calipers with the caliper bracket.

If you're going to toe that 40 foot trailer leave your brakes alone and go buy a diesel.
