Default Upgrade to Daytime Running Lights

Given the every wiring harness on every truck is the same, and it is just some trucks have hardware other trucks don't (i.e., I can get foglights and a headlights switch that has the fog light switch and outfit my truck that didn't include them), how would I go about integrating a switch that Daytime Running Lights?
Do the trucks come out of the factory with a light sensor?
If not how would I do so?
Has anyone ever here done this?

You’d have to hit a salvage truck for what you need.

The sensor hasn’t been made for years.

You’ll need the dash cover made to go around the sensor and the headlight switch, of course.

ETA: My bad, was thinking of auto headlights. There is a relay that goes under the dash that powers the DRLs that hasn’t been made in forever. Not sure you’ll find a truck around that has it unless by sheer luck.

Ford sold the resistor (I bought one years back and still have it in the truck) but the relay was replaced by a “spaghetti” kit that gets spliced in. No switch needed there.
