Well guys, after doing a brake job on my truck and getting no better results with my center caps flying off, I decided I'm changing rims. I am still going with 16s but only because I had just replaced my tires. With the weather being so cold, I haven't had the time to repaint my PTM grille after sanding it down. I have every supply I need; adhesion promoter, 4 cans of Duplicolor Oxford White, like 3 cans of Duplicolor Top Coat, 1k grit wetsand paper, 2k grit wetsand paper.. I also got the paint to repaint the grille insert the gunmetal color I decided on. I never got my Lightning corner lights off eBay and they filed an unpaid buyer claim thing so I can't get anything now. However I found some black clear corner lights about 20 minutes from my house for $10. I'm going pick them up hopefully Saturday night. I am getting a radar detector tomorrow morning. I plan on painting the mirror caps soon as well as the door handles; I have already painted the tailgate handle as some may have seen. I am trying to figure out something custom to do to the Ford emblem for my grille. I am also considering taking my tailgate off, sanding it down myself, welding over the emblem holes and bondoing over the Ford logo indention and fixing the dents, and repainting it myself. I'm tired of my tailgate looking like poo. I also plan on tinting my new taillights this Saturday. Hope to post today's 40-100 video and some new pics soon.

 

Which radar detector did you get?

 

It's a Cobra 14-band, not sure the model number right now because I left it in a friend's car about 20 minutes from my house and it's late so I'm not going get it tonight. Got the grille painted and picked up the corner lights. I still need to redo the insert again, after I got done painting it tonight something happened and it looks like water got to it somehow and messed with the coloring.
