Unknown squeak when decelerating
2003 F-150 5.4L
Good evening all,
I am new to these forums account wise, but have been using them to learn about fixes here and there over the last 2 years.
In the last 2 months my truck developed a squeak only when decelerating. The sound only lasts for a second or two, it is not continuous by any means and does not happen at static speeds or RPMs. I believe it happens when the truck shifts as it doesnt make the noise decelerating in 1st; however it happens more often when i fully let of the gas quickly.
The sound appears to be coming from the engine compartment unless its something like a U joint resonating across the bottom to the front.
Video/audio of the squeak: (disregard the turn signal clicking)
https://streamable.com/fch5z
Recent changes:
1) Truck sat 6 months while i was deployed overseas from April to 07 Oct 19
2) Alternator/Belt replaced 11 Oct 19
Known Issue:
1) Temp Control Solenoid/AC line vacuum leak somewhere causing the much to common Ford AC blowing out the defrost vents only.
