Default Two questions

Hey guys recently the back drivers side brake cylinder busted so I replaced it and as I was bleeding the brakes the brake fluid was black. I ran a whole bottle of fluid threw to try and flush it out but what could cause the fluid to turn black? Could it be from heat or just the fluid being old? Second question is I've noticed recently the truck don't handle that well like I have to help it pick its way going down the road especially on the highway. The truck has all new ball joints that are a year old but has original tie rods with 190,000 miles on them and the front end is raised up an inch. Could it be time for new tie rods?

The answer to the first question is that brake fluid attracts moisture over time.
Second is replace anything that's 190000 miles old.
