I'm looking at buying tweeters for my system. I already have 4 door speakers with tweeters in them and they are being pushed by a 1000 w amp. I also have two 12s being pushed by a 1200 w amp. I need pics to give me an idea of how they will look and the best place to put them. I'm thinking on the pillar but let me know what you think.

Just a quick question, but what amps, speakers and subs are you running? And what head unit? There is a lot you can do as far as tuning your system, depending on what you've got and what you usually listen to.

The head units is appradio (has a whole tuning interface) door speakers are pioneers and so are the subs. The amp pushing the door speakers is a 4 way amp (forgot the brand) and the amp with the subs is a hifonix Brutus

Is your head unit tuned along. With your amps? That makes a huge difference. Also did your amps come with rating and test sheets showing actual output?

Well rockford fosgate includes a "birth certificate" that shows actual test output of the amps. I have a 400w amp that's putting out closer to 6 and a 600 that's putting out close to 700 according to their birth certificate and the sound quality and sound level is incredible.

Why would I need to know this for the tweeter?

It's possible your tweeters in your doors aren't getting enough juice if your amps were marketed above their actual output.

They work, I have the bass off and theyll blow your ears off. I was asking about tweeters on the pillars
