Do they come on at all or do they not flash, what's it doing?

The turn signals don't come on at all but the emergency flashers work just fine.

Any lights and everything electrical can be on but blinkers still do not work. You can hit the brakes and then move the switch up and down and it will work in the back but you can not just press it down. You have to do it manually for them to work. It is like it is not wanting to flash or something.

it works but if you push it all the way on nothing happens so i have to go half way down for it to turn the break light off and then bring it back up to turn the break on just so i can have some sort of indication people can see me turning from the back.

Jonathan.....what year is your truck? 97-8's use an analog dash cluster and the 99's and up use a digital cluster. There have been write ups on the 99 up for having a faulty connection on the cluster. 97=8 I don't believe have the solder problem. I believe it has something to do with the tilt wheel being down or up too high, causing the wiring to pull loose or stretch it. Have you tried to set your column at level (tilt column) and see if things work? If not, try it and move the column up and down and see if the signals start to work.

Go to the forum and go to the search option and find turn signals won't work. You should pull up a bunch of different items. You'll find your answer in those. Good luck.
