So this is kinda weird situation, when i turn on the headlights, its as if my front right corner light is on full power, but the front left is on park/low, when i flip the turn signal on to the right, the dash light blinks and i can hear the relay clickin on and off but the font corner doesnt work, when i click it to the left no dash light, no front corner light but the back works and i can hear the relay clicking. Both click at normal speed as if their fine.
Bottom pics., I pulled the headlight switch out to replace it and this is what the wiring looks like, is it supposed to be this way?
I also replaced both corner light bulb sockets with generic, this is the wiring.
That is definitely not how the wiring looks from the factory.
Whether you just acquired this truck or not, this is a sweet looking hack job.
Now, you get to figure out what is in there unnecessarily and reconnect the cut factory wiring together.
Well, this was my brothers truck years and years ago, he had auto-start aftermarket alarm, windows would roll up if you stuck your arm in the window, he did all kinds of crap to this thing. Hes pretty smart, but i doubt he remembers what he did.
it was for the aftermarket white guages my bro installed. those wires went to a PSU or something, i just cut them out and respliced the brwn and blk wire, also installed some new guages while I was at it, everything works except the front turn signals still. At first, the turn signals didnt come on at all, and i pressed the hazard switch a few times and they worked, I think it might be the multifunction switch or the wire harness unplugged, just read about that last night, luckily I have a brand new one laying around.
