Default Turn sgnal issue

Don't know, maybe one of you f150 owners have had this problem. My 97, turn signals won't work when it is cooler outside, when it warms up they work find. Hard to diagnoise soon as I start checking the wiring, and it warms up outside or in a shop they start working. Don't want to wait till winter to fix this problem. I replaced the flasher/relay, the hazard flasher now work, but turn signal problem is the same

Any other issues besides that? Based on what you are saying, I am inclined to think the multi-function switch.

Default turn signal issue

That is the only electrical problem, I am having. I thought it might be the switch. Thanks for your input.

tilt the wheel all different angles and see if you can get them to come and go. The wires like to pull out of the back of the multi-function-switch ( blinkers / washers / wipers lever)

Yeah, this ^^^. Especially if someone took it apart before and messed up the tab. (The tab that holds the wire in the connector). Btw, Rock Auto does sell some connectors.

I ordered a MF switch from Rock Auto a couple years and I took the column all apart. Went to put the new one in and I'll be damned if it wasn't the wrong one (they were really cool about it and acknowledged their error). So I took mine all apart and cleaned it. It looked to me like the PO spilled a coke down in there somehow. It works great still today.
