Default True dual before wheels

In the future I'm going to put a dual exhaust set up on my truck but Is it possible to have both exit before the wheel on each side? Or with the gas tank be in the way? I don't like the look of the pipe behind the wheel at all haha. But if I have both come out on the passenger side before the wheel it'll sound good still right??

Gas tank is in the way, too bad though cause it would look cool.
The nascar style exhaust is popular around here (AZ) and my sister's 3.0v6 has it, sounds AWESOME! hers is just a single pipe but that sucker roars!

I would consider having it exit the rear under the bumper on both side but rather than having the tips run parallel see if whoever you're having install them can angle them steeper than normal. It'll give you good sound but not too much drone and it looks killer if its done right.

I cut the stock muffler off, still need to put it out the passenger side but I love the way it sounds, no drone, just muscle.
