I have a 98 4.6 automotic 4x4 and the tranny is shot. due to not working right now i need another BAD and cheap! so i find a couple in my price range but how do i know they will work? the ones i find are labeled as 4r70 so will all 4r70s work? the ones i find are out of 4x4's also. for example the ones i find are from a 5.4L 99 4x4 and one for 300 bucks is out of a 2003 but before i drive an hour to get it am i wasting my time or will this work with my application? please help a poor boy out lol.
