Question Transmission will kick into neutral instead of overdrive
i have a 1999 ford f150 with a 4.6L engine and a few days ago when i got to around 40-45mph instead of shifting into overdrive it shifted like it went into neutral. i changed the transmission fluid and filter thinking it might help but it never did. can anyone help me? what could it be?

Blown clutch I believe sounds like what happened to my old 95 although it was standard

SOunds like a blown clutch band, time for a rebuild
