Default Transmission issues

Was driving on the highway and m truck disengaged from drive (on its own) and went it to a neutral position. The truck lost all gears including reverse.
I pulled the 4x4 electronic actuator and found the indicator between 2h and 4h. I manually put the selector (using a wrench) to 2h. The truck now goes in gear but it acts like the transfer case is still in 4h although the front shaft is not spinning.
The truck has a whine through all gears and shifts like it's in a strain kinda like when all 4 wheels are engaged. Also the Speedo is way off, see link to a video
Is it possible my transfer case is toast? The weird thing is I can put in 4h manually and it will go to 4x4 mode. But the transmission shift patterns do not change.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

Weird

Did you remove shift actuator after changed transfer case position manually? It wont go back on without matching up to tcase.
