Transmission Issues
So to start, I have a 1999 F-250 LD. 5.4L V8 4x4, 294,xxx km on it.
the transmission was running fine, stopped and left the truck running, when i hopped back in and put it into drive and hit the gas, nothing happened. checked trans fluid and added what i had to it. the trans then went into drive. drove bout 3miles before started losing power from transmission.
Tranny cooler line was cause of low fluid due to damage from thick ice on highway.
I cannot manually turn the crank and engine will not turn over.
The codes where: torque converter and clutch solenoid.
Any ideas? is the transmission completely dead? can i unlock the torque converter without removing the transmission?
