I need help identifying my transmission, I’m getting ready to do a full fluid change, differential, transmission, coolant, and motor oil. And I would like to do a transmission filter change but I’m not sure which one I have. It’s a 2000 F-150 4.2.

this is my door tag. Also how much and what type of transmission fluid?

 

Take your vin to a parts department, ford dealer. They will look it up and will have what you need.

If you dont buy it there at least they can inform you.

But U is a 4R70W transmission
