Transmission help! 98 F150
hello, I just recently got a 98 f150 4x4 4.2 v6 automatic transmission and the dang transmission went out! I know it has a 4r70w, but I'm needing to know what years are compatible with the 98? I have found a 99 transmission 4x4 with the 4.2 with 130,*** miles. Will that transmission work in my truck??? Please help!!

I would think it would bolt up no problem as long as the bellhousing is the same. Electronics and junk, no idea. There was like ten page thread on something similar to this. Might look around. Sorry im not much help
