Hey yall ive got a 97 f 150 and need a new transfer case motor, mine seems to be an 8 pin and has a wire that goes to the transfer case not to the shift motor. Anyone had this issue? All I can find for replacement motors are 7 pin and don't have the extra wire? Is it needed or what is it for?

you must transfer the other wire to the harness on the new shift motor
