will a transfer case motor from a 96 expedition fit in a 97 f150?

Expeditions weren't made until 98. So you may want to recheck where the part is coming from.

I could be wrong, but I am reading that they where built in 1996 to be introduced in 1997.




To OP, I believe it will fit as what I am reading says both vehicles have the Warner 4406 transfer cases.

Since some where made in '96 to be sold in '97, would their vin stickers still show a build date in '96? Maybe the vehicle he is getting the motor from is one of those vehicles.
