Default Trans Temp Gauge

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has installed an aftermarket transmission temperature gauge on a 5.4? If you have, could you list the steps. I appreciate it!

Here is what I believe and many others to be the best of the best. Obviously it comes with a good price tag on it. But there are cheaper options.

yeah, in soon time I'll be towing a bit and I've seen some threads that say things heat up when they're about to break. That being said, I'd like a transmission temp gauge, I figured why not.

I'll answer the question you actually asked.

Yes I have, plenty of them. There is what's called a test port in the side of the tranny that a temp probe can be installed directly into!

Google 4R70W test port
