You only need to leave like 20 minutes early when the bingo hall is 5 minutes away.

I purchased the 98 new. Nah, you can get longevity out of them. You need an interest in it. I had one for awhile, knew some transmission guys over at TCCOA for a time who fed that interest well... long enough to learn something anyway. Enough to borrow lots of time and many more miles with my factory set-up. No denying that....I've had this truck just shy of 20 years now lol
Heck. I've had 2 vehicles at a time for almost my entire driving life. Though I've never bought new.
I'd buy a truck from a guy like you or myself but for some reason they're hard to find! I look at 2008+ f150s that are rusting out where they shouldn't be. Poor maintenance. Little or no records. Etc. Still want 25k-35k for them. Seems the guys who take care of them dont want to let them go. It makes sense but still...
Edit: Little factioid. Original owner of my truck shot 2 deer with one bullet. Made the paper. Haha.
