ok so last week my over drive was flashing i got it scaned it was the trans fluid temp sencer so i parked it untill today had to drive in thru the snow to get to work well on my way home the trans just stoped working so i put it in neautral then back into drive and it worked for a little then nothing the trans guy said it was okay any input would help thanks

 

First thing, FIRE your tranny guy! If your trans is overheating that could be because of a clogged cooler. Since you said it just stopped working it may be fried.
