Hey all,

Finally got my transmission back in and the truck back together. After sorting out a few leaks, I think all is well. The only issue I am having now is while in 4wd it jerk when turning. I am thinking I did not add enough fluid as it did not do this before.


I put about 1 qt of vslvoline mercon V in, is this correct? If so what else should I start looking at? As I said it worked fine before the whole flexplate ordeal and removing the Trans.

 

while turning in 4wd with traction some binding and jerking is normal, if it go's away in 2wd you are good to go.

 

Mine is definitely far from normal. It will bring the truck to a halt from slow speeds. Also, like I mentioned earlier, it never did this before pulling the transmission
