I've got a 97 f150 4.2l 2wd auto with about 230xxx miles. I'm having shift problems. When running normally I take off and the truck won't shift out of first itll get up to about 35 Mph then it's just quit accelerating and just idles back down to a lower speed. No lights come on nor does the overdrive button blink. When I turn the overdrive off it'll shift into 2nd like normal but won't shift anymore but it still holds speed when I let off the accelerator. Any help to what the problem may be would be greatly appreciated
