Default Tranny issues

I have a 2003 F150 5.4L that won’t shift into overdrive. It shifts great through all other gears. The service engine light is not on the overdrive light was going on and off but is not now. I have checked all fuses and relays. What could it be? I had the tranny rebuilt just over a year ago.

I am guessing it is a problem with your servo, which is serviceable from the bottom. However, when you remove the servo, the band will often come out of place. It is also possible to reposition the band without removing the trans. Luckily, instead of explaining it, I found a video on Youtube. Check it out below. You also may find that something it stuck in the servo as well.... like a piece of the snap ring. Unfortunately, the only way to diagnose this is from the bottom.
