Default Towing while lowered on 20's

Quick question-I have a '97 2wd with the 4.6L. I have added a 2" drop shackle and OEM Harley F-150 wheels and tires. Will I have any problems towing an open car trailer loaded with a Ford Probe? Do I need to put the stock shackles or wheels and tires on?

depending on how much tongue weight there will be you might wanna do an equalizer hitch... also depends on how often your gonna tow the vehicle or tow things in general

I've towed with mine lowered 3/4. I have a tow package which probably helps, but the truck tows with no problems. Even with the bed loaded.

This is just a couple times a year at most. The trailer I borrow has some sort of sway bars that triangulate at the hitch. Other than that the truck see very little hard work.

I'm not concerned if the truck can handle it, I've been doing this with my grandfather's '97 4.6L and it was always fine. My concern is my suspension/tire setup. His truck was a 4x4 on stock wheels and tires. My truck is 2wd and I've lowered it and added the 20's. I'm guessing it fine as I'm pretty sure there are Harley and Lightning guys that tow stuff this heavy but just want a second opinion.

The truck has a factory receiver and plug for trailer lights.

The truck did well. It was about 2 hour drive each way, mainly highway and all went well. Here are some pics.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But if your tires can hold the load, it wouldn't matter?

But then again, I've seen where the bigger the rim, the lower the gross weight you can tow goes down.. Seen this while looking at Toyota Tundras details. It showed 18s and the gross weight then showed coming with 20s it lowered the tow weight about 2k in weight.
