Towing/trailer question...
I have a 2000 F150 Supercab at just around 100K. It has the 5.4 engine, 3.55 gearing and the E4OD transmission.
Truck is bone stock, nothing done to it, but does have the towing package with stock tranny cooler.
I want to get a smaller 5th wheel or travel trailer. What should I realistically be able to tow with my wife and three kids. I was looking at some Terry Lite trailers around 4200-4300 LBS dry. I will be going up into the mountains (Shaver Lake in California) with a few decent climbs....I'm not looking to be the first one up the hill....just want to safely make it up.
Any thoughts?

I dont think you should have any issues with that. As long as your are a good safe driver and know how to use overdrive and low gears down hills, you will be fine. Just make sure a reputable dealer puts in the 5th wheel
