I shattered my passenger side lower" blind spot glass, the rest of the assembly is good shape.

I am trying to replace just the lower portion of it but I realized online that the driver side glass is $5 and the passenger side is $17...? Wth

Anyone know why? The dimensions are both the same and they're both convex... the glass them selves seem to be the same shape so I don't get why they're different.


Anyone have some insight on this?

 

No idea... It's more common for people to lack spatial awareness of the passenger side, so maybe they're just trying to make bank on the mirror that has a higher demand?
