Default Tow Mirrors

Well, I was going to see about fitting a set of Dodge tow mirrors onto the truck. I crunched a few numbers and found a set of the tow mirrors for F150's for the same price as the Dodge mirrors. What I ended up buying was a set of manual GM style mirrors (no heat, no power, no turn signal) for around $185 off of ebay. I couldn't find any that had just heat in them at the time, but for the price I'm not complaining. They should be in sometime next week, has anyone had any issues installing them?

I just put a set on yesterday. They dont seem big when you take them out of the box but when you put them on they are bigger than sh**. I also replaced all 4 of my speakers while I did the mirrors. Will put pics up tomorrow. No problem only thing is when in the extended position and going about 65-70 down the road the mirror itself, not the plastic seams to shake a lot

I don't know if I'll ever have them extended past full in. It's more I just needed the mirrors out more and don't really pull bigger trailers. It will be nice to finally have some proper mirrors now though.

Well they came in today. Had them one in about 30 min. Much better over the stock mirrors. I like them, just will take a little getting used to being able to adjust the convex mirror on the bottom. The picture isn't even with them extended.

Haha. I think it with the mirrors at a distance from behind it looks like a GM. From a distance up front it looks like a Dodge due to the front bumper. From the side or up close, a Ford.
