Totaled?
I have a 99 F150, supercab, 2wd, 4.6, XLT. 196000 miles
The other day I was going like 25 around a 90 degree turn, my tires lost grip and I slid into woods missing evey tree but my right side hit a stump. My front end bounced, about a 1/2" of alimunim taken out of rim and cracked sidewall tire. I drive it to work about 2 miles away and got a junkyard rim/tire, about 29" but my others are 31s. So screwed alignment and it leans to right cause of tire.
Well I drove for 2 days until today I turned wheel and looked at frame. It has slight bends in two spots, and welding by axel is sorta messed up. I'd say came loose and hanging about 2 or 3mm.
Do you think it's totaled? I'm 18, and had one accident in another car but was forgiven by insurance. I'm under my grandfather. Should I take it to a Ford dealer? Heard they usually total these things, just because I feel like it will ever be the same and I could get a car with good mpg.
My deductible is $250, so I'm thinking with a car and a deductible of $1000 the rates should be about the same.
Sorry for shuch a long post, what y'all think?
